My baggage is missing. What should I do?

Modified on Fri, 30 Aug, 2024 at 11:31 AM

If your baggage does not appear on the baggage carousel, you should report the missing baggage at the baggage service desk in the arrivals hall. At the desk, you will receive a form known as a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with a reference number. This form will help you track the status of your missing luggage.

If your baggage is found, the airline will usually deliver it to your address as soon as possible. However, in some countries, it may not be possible to deliver the baggage to your address, and you may need to pick it up at the airport yourself.

If your baggage is lost, we recommend contacting your insurance company. Most travel insurance policies cover this type of loss based on the value of your belongings.
